Life can be really hard and painful sometimes, and you may feel really alone in our struggles. You may have a relationship with someone you love but just can't seem to get along. You may be a parent trying to best figure out how to help a child or teen who is having problems. You may have anxiety that you can’t seem to push down any longer, and your thoughts seem to loop and loop. You have come to the right place. My approach to therapy centers on creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients can safely explore their struggles, be heard, and receive the tools they need to navigate the challenges they may face. I offer a gentle and non-judgmental approach to therapy, grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to your unique needs. I am trained to help people get "unstuck" and grow in greater awareness of their patterns. My goal is to serve as a guide and partner on your journey toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal growth. I am honored to join you on this journey. I invite you to contact me for a free 15 minute consultation!

Accepting new clients! Do you find yourself frequently overwhelmed by negative emotions or trapped in an ever-repeating cycle? You are not alone. Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." It does not have to stay this way. There is hope. Many times, the first step to changing your life is to say things out loud to someone you trust. I am committed to creating a safe place for you to be real with no fear of judgment. It would be my honor to come alongside you as we work through the things that have kept you stuck for too long. I hold a Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Theological Studies from Urshan Graduate School of Theology. I have experience in private practice settings, and my strengths include working with adults and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational issues, life transitions, and stress. My education also uniquely positions me to offer Biblical/Christian counseling if requested. Please reach out if you are struggling. I want to assure you that you MATTER, and your mental health is worth investing in!

Many individuals and families have been through very difficult circumstances, including trauma. We often do not have a choice about the circumstances we face, but we can heal from these experiences and even turn them into opportunities for growth. I have been a licensed counselor in the state of IL for 13 years. I have experience working with individuals and families who have been impacted by trauma and other difficult life circumstances. I also enjoy helping people develop strategies for managing their anxiety, including cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness/relaxation techniques. I will take the time to get to know you and your family to determine the best way for you to move forward. It would be my privilege to come alongside you and your family to find hope and healing.
